Spencer is an alumni of Pump N Run and enjoyed 5 seasons with our program.  He played high school basketball at Anamosa High School and then went on to play college basketball at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.  He has been a coach for Pump N' Run for four years and has been helping out Anamosa High School for 2 years.

The game of basketball has been a love for Spencer since he was very young, and he says it’s given him so many things.  He’s learned so much about life through the game of basketball and wants to share that joy and passion for the game with younger players. Being a part of the Pump N' Run family for almost a decade now, he has evolved his perspective of what it means to be part of this great program. He says the work ethic, the way to attack every day with passion on and off the court was instilled in him through the program and that is why he is so excited to work and continue to be a part of Pump N' Run basketball.

Spencer is from Anamosa where his dad has been the high school coach since 1995. Because of that, he grew up in the gym and that is where he fell in love with the game. He’s planning to coach at the college level next season as a graduate assistant and is working towards making basketball his life career. In his free time, away from basketball he likes to fish, golf and spend time with his family.
